Potential benefits and limitations of game theory in agricultural economics.

The game theory is utilized as an alternative for neoclassical methods for the modelling of situations that involve group interactions. Game theory-based models in agricultural economics are utilized to evaluate the implications of individual transactions and strategic pay offs for the empirical analysis of agricultural data. Furthermore, game theory models provide more detailed analysis of micro-level transactions in isolated markets compared to neoclassical models.
