Flores, who was ordained a bishop in 1970, worked with Chaser Chavez to gain justice for workers in the streets and fields. He is an outspoken pastor and worker in the Hispanic ministry of the Catholic Church. Now at 67, illness and age is slowing him down, and none have come yet to fill his shoes.
