Architect Maarten Struijs designed the enclosure for the huge emission cleansing plant for the public incinerator located on the south bank of the Maas in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Hoesch Isowand steel panels were utilized to reflect light from the sun, the river and the sky and provide different shades of color on the enclosure. At night, lighted openings provide motorists with glimpses of the machineries housed by the enclosure.
