Previous literature on the geology of the Kruisrivier area were analyzed to determine the minerals that can be found in the Kruisrivier cobalt mine. The mine, which is located on the Kruisrivier farm, Transvaal, South Africa, has been worked commercially for its cobalt deposits. The mine, however, also contains arsenolite, beryl, chalcopyrite, cobaltite, erythrite, fluorite, gold, heterogenite, malachite, millerite, nickeline, picropharmacolite, safflorite and skutterudite.
