United States: Brunswick briefs: Highway project grant focuses on low-impact development.

The N.C. Coastal Federation has received a $75,650 grant from the N.C. Clean Water Management Trust Fund to use low-impact development designs with highway projects in Brunswick County, according to a news release from the Coastal Federation.

Low-impact development techniques collect and treat stormwater runoff, which helps protect water quality in areas like the Lockwood Folly River watershed.
