The Trisha Brown Company presented a premier of Brown's 'Twelve Ton Rose' followed by her 1995 dance 'M.O.' Other pieces in the BAM season were a duet by Mikhail Baryshnikov and Brown called 'You Can See Us' and the improvisational 'Long and Dream.'
In 1971, Trisha Brown made a dance: she performed a movement; repeated it; added another; went back to the first; the second; then added a third, and so on. History was made.
