CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 30, 1996--Cincinnati Bell Telephone, a subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE:CSN) today outlined a process that would allow it to become a competitive provider of local telecommunications services as competition unfolds in its Ohio market.
The plan, called "Commitment 2000," would replace Cincinnati Bell Telephone's current alternative regulation plan, based on rate of return, with a new set of price and service commitments that would encourage full and fair competition for local telecommunications services.
