Dec. 6--The Boca Raton doors of MBNA America will swing open on Dec. 9, company officials announced Thursday.

Wilmington, Del-based MBNA, the second-largest issuer of credit cards in the United States, announced its plans to open a southern regional office in Boca Raton last April, when it bought a 62,800-square-foot building in the Arvida Park of Commerce.
