John W. Rice has been named today as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Lever Brothers Company.

As the new head of Lever, Mr. Rice will report to Robert M. Phillips, President of Unilever's Home and Personal Care-North America. Lever's Executive Board members will report directly to Mr. Rice.
