No one should fear the Irish language, says Mayor.

DUNGANNON Council Mayor Barry Monteith has called for an Irish Language Act to be implemented as soon as possible so that Northern Ireland can embrace its language diversity.
The Sinn Fein Councillor also welcomed Council plans to appoint an Irish Language Officer.
Mayor Monteith made the announcements while responding to criticisms about the appearance of An Gaeilge stickers on signs around the town.
