A Montrose mum has spoken of her hopes that her daughter will be among those to receive groundbreaking treatment for the skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

Dianne Forsyth welcomed news of the trial treatment which has been developed by researchers at Dundee University and is now offering a glimmer of hope for EB sufferers around the world.

EB is a genetic condition which causes skin to blister or shear off at the slightest touch, exposing patients to the risk of infection, and can cause fusing of the fingers and toes and other associated problems.
