NEW YORK -- Bestform Foundations Inc. has acquired the trademarks and assets of Gilda Marx Inc. and Gilda Marx International Ltd.

The Gilda Marx companies specialize in women's and girls' bodywear and activewear, as well as sports bras. The brands include Gilda Marx, Flexatard and Breathables.

The purchase price was not disclosed. The Marx companies currently generate around $20 million annually, according to industry estimates.
