Punjab and Sind Bank enter final

Jalandhar, Oct 24 (PTI) Punjab and Sind Bank, Delhi, entered the final of the Silver Jubilee IndianOil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium here today.

In the first semi-final today, Punjab and Sind Bank, Delhi, edged out Air India, Mumbai, 2-1 to enter the final for the 13th time.

The match was played on fast pace and the bankmen took the lead in the 6th minute when outside left Rajwinder Singh scored a brilliant field goal, off a pass from inside left Jarnail Singh (1-0). ...
