Moneta Sleet Jr., one of America's greatest photographers, died in New York's Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. The first Black male and the first Black photographer to receive a Pulitzer Prize, the Ebony and Jet photojournalist covered the Freedom Movement in Africa and America and photographed the major leaders and followers of the last 40 years.
