THE U.N.'s Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) urged governments to "urgently" rethink their biofuel strategies in a new report released Oct. 7.
The Rome, Italy-based agency raised questions about the importance of these fuels, their environmental impact, effect on food prices and policy distortions that favor industries in rich countries.
