Northern New Mexico lakes Abiquiu: Walleye fishing was fair this past week using crank baits, jig and grub combinations and bottom-bouncer/ night-crawler rigs. The best reports came from anglers trolling crank baits and others working jigs in the brush at the upper end of the lake. Fishing was fair using liver and night crawlers at night for catfish. Fishing was fair using tubes, crank baits, spinners and senkos for smallmouth bass. No reports on other species. Bluewater: Fishing was fair using jerk baits and spinner baits from the bank for tiger musky. Best reports this week ...
