Red Pepper Software and PeopleSoft both maintain that their pending merger, in a pooling of interests valued at about $225 million, will not affect Red Pepper's ability to do business independently with PeopleSoft competitors in the ERP market, most notably SAP and Oracle. "Both [SAP and Oracle] are a little leery, and probably wish it didn't take place," acknowledges Monte Zweben, president, CEO and co-founder of Red Pepper.
