At the beginning of the current calendar year, the hydraulics business took on a new visibility within Eaton Corp. and most importantly, outside of Eaton Corp.

In an effort to better reflect its growth and performance in the mobile and stationary hydraulics markets, the diversified manufacturer has amended its financial reporting process to state the results for the hydraulics business as a stand-alone line item. Previously, the results for the hydraulics business were reported with the Fluid Power segment.
