Jean Subrenat, co-translated with Andree Subrenat, Collection Ktemata 19 (Louvain and Paris: Peeters, 2007). 803 pp. ISBN 978-90-429-1818-7. 49.00 [euro]. Gaydon was last published in its entirety in 1862 (in the 'Anciens poetes de la France' series); since then, there have been two partial editions, in 1907 and 1911; not surprisingly, studies are rather thin on the ground, and it tends rather to appear in footnotes.
