When murdered policewoman Anna-Marie Potgieter was laid to rest in January 2006 her family and colleagues wept with police Commissioner Perumal Naidoo who broke down at the graveside.
Since that day two men have gone on trial for the murder.
Just over a month ago, John Dhlomo was sentenced to life for the murder and his friend, Justice Arthur Anthony, was acquitted.
The conviction, however, has done little to give Potgieter's family peace or closure.
