The incorporation of the concept of ecosystem into the administration of natural riches must be preceded by a thorough research of the local ecosystem before coming up with a management plan. A periodic program performance evaluation must also be carried out to determine shifts in the ecosystem as well as the impact of management practices. In addition, it will also measure the efficiency of the program to achieve the social, economic and environmental perspectives of sustainable development.
