Victoria Falls under threat.

An International Union for the Conservation of Nature report found that Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is in danger of being destroyed by the rapid growth of tourism and the extraction of water from the connecting Zambezi River. The study recommends a suspension of new real estate developments near the falls and controlled growth in the surrounding areas, and suggests the creation of the Victoria Fall Trust to promote sustained development.
