Successful information systems (IS) development requires the right amount of commitment from project participants. In this regard, managers should ensure that participants show a balanced commitment, not too little or too much, to an IS development project. Managers should also make sure that such commitment is sustained in the long run. However, to effectively manage project commitment, it is important to understand its determinants.
