The Warnaco Group has threatened legal action against Gruppo International Saint Moris unless its retracts the image of Marilyn Monroe from its Collection M bra and panty line. Warnaco Group, which has introduced its own lingerie line in the likeness of Marilyn Monroe, reaffirmed its exclusive right to the Marilyn Monroe image and signature. The Warnaco line, named Marilyn Monroe by Warner, is expected to gross $25 mil in sales in its first year.
