King Edward broke the stranglehold that the two big Pretoria Schools have had on boys' schools athletics by winning the inter-high, at KES, on Wednesday.
Pretoria's Affies were the winners last year, and in 2006 and the year before that the title went to Pretoria Boys' High. The last time KES won the title was in 2004.
King Edward have by far the best record in this event, having won it 17 times in the last 27 years. Next best are Pretoria Boys' High with six wins. Parktown and Affies, with two wins each, are the only other ...
