Arawak Energy cleared for production at 2 fields in Kazakhstan
MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's Central Commission for Development of Oil and Gas Fields granted permission for Canada's Arawak Energy to start production drilling at the Akzhar and Besbolek fields.
The commission approved the technical plans for development of the two oil fields, allowing the company to move from the exploration phase to the development phase, Arawak said in a press release on Thursday.
