Understanding the nature and functioning of remote bulb controls is essential to properly installing and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (hvac) systems. Many remote bulb controls in hvac systems depend on liquid expansion to operate temperature adjustments. It is important to properly calibrate the control so that liquid expansion does not damage its internal parts in the event of drastic temperature changes.

Electromechanical remote bulb temperature controls are a lot like Rodney Dangerfield. They don't get no respect.
