On April 9, MCA/Universal Home Video will premiere eight episodes of Earthworm Jim on four cassettes at $9.98 each. Prebook is March 25.
The episodes are based on the Earthworm Jim videogame hit, which also inspired an animated TV series that premiered as the No. 1 show for children ages 2 through 11 on the Warner Bros. Kids Network.
The series follows the adventures of a humble worm who is transformed into a superhero when he dons an indestructible supersuit.
MCA/Universal has lined up three promotional partners to launch the release:
