There's never really a bad time to be an American in Luxembourg, but one of the best moments of all may have occurred on a wintry afternoon last December.
The day was Friday the eighth and the place was the military cemetery at Hamm, just outside the city. What we witnessed was one of those rare moments when a country speaks with one voice to pledge its gratitude and admiration to another.
