College teachers can use skeptical tests of environmental doomsday models proposed by prominent personalities to enhance the critical thinking and scientific writing skills of their students. Moreover, students will often find it interesting and enjoyable to debunk such models. Several tips on how to properly go about disclaiming environmental doomsday models are presented. These approaches include the FRSNs paradigm which goes about systematically testing assertions contained in doomsday models.
