ATLANTA _ Mark Lenzi didn't win a second gold medal Monday night, but he did take the bronze in the Olympic men's three-meter springboard.

Chinese divers Xiong Ni and Yu Zhuocheng walked away with the gold and silver medals as expected, leaving Lenzi to snatch the bronze from teammate Scott Donie.

Lenzi, who has done much of his training in Ann Arbor, Mich., was the 1992 gold medalist at Barcelona.

Lenzi, 28, guaranteed bronze on his last dive by pulling 92.4 points for a reverse 3 somersault, the highest score earned for any single dive in the final.
