Im Fachbereich Psychiatrie ist Arbeitstherapie sehr bekannt, und sie ist haufig Gegenstand von Veroffentlichungen, Fachvortragen und Fortbildungsangeboten. Daneben droht aus dem Blickfeld zu geraten, dass es Arbeitstherapie und arbeitsrehabilitative Angebote auch ausserhalb der Psychiatrie gibt.
