* Your newspaper has, hands down, the best coverage of Israel's systematic denial of Palestinian Arab human dignity of any U.S. Catholic publication, but the photo caption under "West Bank water crisis" (NCR, Aug. 8) on Israel's "discriminatory practices" falls short. Why the quote marks, since there can be no dispute? Israel has long taken four to five times as much water from West Bank wells as it allows those to whom it belongs and charged Palestinians four to five times as much as it does Israelis, one of the most onerous forms of repression and harassment in the Occupied ...
