Audit software which are conventionally used for calculation purposes can also be effectively employed in performing more complicated audit tasks. For instance, they can be used to examine internal controls by identifying exceptions, particularly in industries that process great quantities of data daily. Audit software can also be utilized in pinpointing high-risk areas by testing parallel relationships over a certain period of time.
