Driver arrested after cyclist's death.

THE DRIVER of a lorry which was involved in a collision that killed a cyclist in Wakefield yesterday morning has been arrested by police.

Wakefield Police told the Express that the lorry failed to stop at the scene and its 39-year-old driver was arrested in Oxford, thought to be his home town, last night.

The crash between the cyclist and the lorry happened just before 10am on Wednesday at the junction of Ings Road and Charlesworth Way. ...
