Still no applications for license to West Kamchatka shelf - Trutnev

IRKUTSK. Sept 9 (Interfax) - The Natural Resources Ministry has not received any applications for the license to explore the West Kamchatka shelf.

"There have not been any requests concerning the West Kamchatka shelf," Natural Resources Minister Yury Trutnev told journalists at the Baikal Economic Forum.

It was reported earlier that subsurface resource agency Rosnedra did not extend the license period for the previous holder, a joint venture between Rosneft and Korea Kamchatka Co., ...
