Creo Products Inc has installed a Renaissance scanning system that it will use for descreening and copydot applications. The system will facilitate prescreened separations and allow image capture of standing film. It will also help capture in digital form text matter, linework, and halftone dots that could be reproduced exactly on a plate. The Renaissance scanner has no shades of color or gray and works through reflection.
