A MARATHON-running Sheffield couple smashed their fundraising target for a charity close to their hearts - raising an incredible [pounds sterling]7,500 more than they had hoped.

James and Jules Hope-Gill first ran the gruelling London Marathon seven years ago - in memory of their 18-month-old son Timothy, who died from a rare hereditary disease called Hurlers syndrome.

This year they pulled on their running shoes again, with the aim of raising [pounds sterling]5,000 for the charity that supported them through the most difficult time of their lives.
