YOU'D be forgiven for thinking Missy the dog was quackers.

For the terrier has just become an unusual mother figure to goslings named Christmas Dinner and New Year's Eve.

And the one-year-old border-cross Lakeland bitch has even started producing milk after having a phantom pregnancy.

Their owner Kevin Harding, 44, said: "Missy just follows them around and they follow her. She's like a mother with puppies."
