When Jannetti Publications, Inc. launched Dermatology Nursing[R] 20 years ago, then DNA President and journal Editorial Board Member Sherrill Rudy, BSN, RN, noted in the premier issue that "It is my hope that Dermatology Nursing[R] will provide a vehicle for the dissemination of important articles that will further define the body of knowledge of the specialty of dermatology nursing. In this way, Dermatology Nursing[R] will serve an essential role and increase both the credibility and visibility of this specialty in the nursing and health care community."
