Jun. 21--Renovations to some of Kansas University's fraternity houses are feasible, thanks to Lawrence resident John Esau.
Through his 3-year-old fund-raising business with partner Dan Pennington, the two have found alumni support for fraternity construction projects, which can cost millions of dollars.
"We currently are doing only fraternity fund-raising," said Esau, of Pennington and Co., 2721 W. Sixth. "It's a very narrow niche that we fill."
