Throughout the ages, Denmark has stood at the crossroads of world trade.

Intersected by two important trade routes, one extending north and south, and the other, east and west, people in this small Scandinavian country have served as merchants for over 1,000 years.

Its unique geographical position makes Denmark a natural market to more than 100 million people in the Nordic countries, the Baltics, large parts of Germany and Poland, and even parts of Russia.
