South Korean Pres. Kim Young-Sam welcomes Pres. and Mrs. Bill Clinton on the occasion of the latter's visit to his country, adding he believes that the visit will only serve to strengthen the already strong alliance between their countries. Clinton, for his part, reveals that he and Pres. Kim have agreed to a new four-party peace process aimed at bringing permanent peace to the Korean peninsula. He hopes that North Korea would agree to enter into new negotiations with South Korea.
