Thermo-Serv adds categories.(of products)

Dallas, TX-based Thermo-Serv has acquired Sausalito, CA-based Epstein Designs Inc for an undisclosed figure. Thermo-Serv will now have a greater presence in department stores. Thermo-Serv had sales of $20 million during 1995 and Epstein Designs had sales of $3 million. Epstein Designs imports melamine, plastic and ceramic tableware.

DALLAS--Thermo-Serv has expanded its product categories with the acquisition of Epstein Designs Inc. The move also gives Thermo-Serv a larger presence in the department store channel.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
