Indian rationalists and skeptics are exposing the deception behind the mystical claims of self-proclaimed gurus, swamis and Christian evangelists. The success of the recent exposes is helping India realize the validity of scientific explanations over metaphysical realities. Among the deceptive claims were those of the milk-drinking religious idols, heightened sexuality through electric shocks and gold watches materializing in thin air.
