DURHAM, N.C., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Demeter BioTechnologies, Ltd., (OTC Bulletin Board: DBOT) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Dry Creek Laboratories, Inc. of Modesto, CA to develop new transgenic apple, grape and prunus (almond, apricot, plum, peach and nectarine) commercial cultivars containing genes designed and constructed by Demeter. The genes involved will provide enhanced disease resistance to a broad range of both bacterial and fungal pathogens affecting these crops.
