Is the Beast back? Jan thinks so...

Milton Keynes Citizen (Milton Keynes, England) | December 7, 2006 | Copyright

A city woman claims she came face to face with the notorious big cat known as 'The Beast' while walking her dog in Tattenhoe.

Jan Moore, aged 62, of Furzton, says what looked like a black leopard sat staring at her in the middle of a path in Howe Park Wood.

She was walking her Border Collie Scooby two weeks ago when the two-foot high cat blocked her path. Hers is the latest in a string of sightings in the Milton Keynes area.

She said: "It was sat looking at us from a bark pathway. We started to walk towards it; it didn't run, it just walked away."
