In this micro-epic, the first line of each couplet ends with the name of a chemical element, and the second line ends with a word or phrase that rhymes or nearly rhymes or barely rhymes with it. So far there are five parts featuring two main characters and a small supporting cast. This is only the first half of the poem, and it has 63 of the 118 elements in the order in which they appear in the Periodic Table.
