PETERBOROUGH pupils are getting a taste of what it takes to get a career in civil engineering.

Royal Haskoning is supporting the Institution of Civil Engineers' (ICE) 'What is civil engineering?' campaign for the second year running.

The initiative set up in 2004 by ICE aims to raise the profile of civil engineering to society.

Since the scheme began Royal Haskoning has been touring secondary schools local to its nine UK offices to talk to young people about civil engineering.
