Alex has his eyes on a successful career thanks to a sponsorship deal with local Specsavers branch.

PETERBOROUGH teenager Alex Bedford (14) is racing towards becoming a Road Racing champion, thanks to the support of his local Specsavers.

Alex, who has been sponsored by the store in Peterborough since 2003, has been achieving a string of successes and has recently made his debut in the GP 80 category.

He regularly competes against adults who were racing when Alex was still in nappies and former racing champion Mick Jackson has given Alex his Suzuki bike for the entire season.
